Dial-up internet. Tamagotchis. Frosted tips. Boy bands. Girl bands. One-hit wonders. And enough questionable fashion to make us all wonder what the hell we were thinking.
We’re cranking the nostalgia all the way up and taking a trip back to the glorious decade of 90s music — from Britpop and grunge to pop princesses, R&B bangers, dancefloor classics and those songs you absolutely knew every word to… even if you’d rather not admit it.
Teams of 4, $20 per team, with a $100 bar tab up for grabs for the ultimate 90s music masterminds.
Quiz master duties are handled by Chris Barber, asking the questions, keeping things moving and probably questioning some of your song choices.
90s dress-ups are highly encouraged — think denim on denim, bucket hats, Spice Girls, boy bands, grunge, tracksuits, frosted tips or whatever 90s fashion crime you’re willing to resurrect.
Wednesday 21 October, kicking off at 7pm.
This isn’t the Olympics of trivia, so don’t be a dick about the rules, don’t take it too seriously, and absolutely bring your best banter. Come for the music, stay for the laughs — and prepare for a serious amount of “OH MY GOD, I KNOW THIS SONG!”
