The Bond Store isn't a bar that happens to make spirits. It's a working distillery that happens to be a really good place to spend an afternoon. Come for the cocktails, stay for the atmosphere, leave with a bottle (or two) and a story worth telling.
We're in Paraparaumu — easy to find, impossible to forget. The big grey building with the turquoise accents. You'll know it when you see it.
Cocktails & Drinks
Everything behind our bar starts with something we made ourselves. Kawakawa Gin, Kāpiti Coast Vodka, Koakoa Limoncello, Garden Party Gin — all distilled right here, all available by the glass.

Food
We keep it simple and local. Platters built around what's good right now, stone-baked pizza on the weekends, and snacks designed to go with a gin and tonic rather than compete with it. Nothing fussy. Everything good. Everything local.
🎵 Live Music & Events
The Bond Store comes alive on weekends. Local musicians, relaxed vibes, the kind of afternoon that stretches into evening without anyone noticing. We host regular live music sessions, quiz nights, cocktail masterclasses and seasonal events throughout the year.
Distillery Tours
Get behind the scenes of a real working distillery. Our tours take you through the full process — from botanicals to bottle — with tastings along the way and plenty of time to ask questions. Bec Kay, our head distiller, has a way of making the technical stuff genuinely interesting.
- Short Tour — 45 minutes, perfect introduction, includes tastings
- Full Tour — deeper dive, more tastings, ideal for spirits enthusiasts
- Weekday Escape — tour + local food, from $25pp (min. 8 people, Mon–Thu)

Getting Here & Parking

We're in the Paraparaumu industrial area — easy to find with GPS and well-signposted once you're close. Free off-street parking is available directly outside. If you're coming by train, Paraparaumu Station is a short drive or taxi ride away.
