The Bond Store Mudslide
Mudslide is a delicious and decadent cocktail that is perfect for anyone who loves the rich, creamy flavor of chocolate and coffee. This cocktail is usually made with vodka, Kahlua or other coffee liqueur, Bailey's Irish cream, and sometimes chocolate syrup or milk. It's often served over ice in a rocks glass or can be blended into a frozen version. This is our take on the Mudslide
- 50g dark chocolate
- 80ml Koakoa Coffee Vodka
- 80ml Koakoa Limoncello Cream liqueur
- 100ml double cream
Put two small tumblers in the fridge to chill overnight. Put 30g of the chocolate in a shallow bowl and melt in the microwave in short bursts. Dip the rim of the chilled glasses in the melted chocolate, then stand them upright so it gradually drips down the sides. Return to the fridge until you're ready to serve.
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, then pour in the coffee vodka, limoncello cream liqueur and double cream. Shake until the outside of the shaker is very cold.
Put a few ice cubes in the prepared glasses, then strain in the cocktail. Finely grate over the remaining chocolate and serve with a paper straw.
The resulting cocktail is rich, creamy, and indulgent, with a sweet and slightly bitter flavor that is perfect for dessert or as a treat after dinner. It's a great cocktail to enjoy on a cold winter night or anytime you're in the mood for something sweet and comforting.
